SGHL
The Jr. Lucky Pucks play in the Southern Girls Hockey League (SGHL). This league's mission is to provide girls in the South opportunities to play hockey and develop into strong female leaders. The league strives to build an environment that is safe, fun and challenging for the girls to grow their skills on and off the ice.
The league represents teams from the Carolinas to Florida and is broken up into a North and South divisions. Currently the league offers jamboree weekends for 8U and 10U girls and a full travel season of 20 games for 12U - 19U.
The league schedules games roughly one weekend per month from October to March. Each weekend a team will play 4 games with the final weekend being a championship game. Each weekend points are awarded as the regular season play leading to the playoff and championship weekend in March.
2024 Mixer
Join Lucky Pucks players at this year's SGHL Mixer where girl hockey players from all over the South meet up for 4 games and clinics. The teams are created by taking individual players's ages and abilities to form balanced teams. These teams will compete in a fun and competitive environment where last years competitors become this years best friends!
Who: Girls born between 2005 and 2015
Where: Community First Igloo - Jacksonville, FL
When: July 13 & 14, 2024 (Clinic options available on Friday)
Cost: $220 per player for games and custom jersey
